Alan ElShafei

Alan ElShafei is the founder, sole proprietor and dynamic CEO of MicroSun Technologies and MicroSun IESS. His wholly owned manufacturing subsidiary in Malaysia was founded because of his dedication towards providing quality products and competitive prices to a vast array of customers throughout the U.S.,Europe and Asia.

Mr. ElShafei was inducted into the Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame. His 24years of vast experience in all phases of alternative energy  was gained thru his tenure with Lextar Technologies as the VP of Business Development & Engineering, and TDI (division of TYCO) as the VP of Engineering and Technical Sales. During his tenure with Tyco he founded, HET, Inc. which developed and manufactured the first Lithium polymer battery in the United States. This ,"HANDS ON" experience has involved him in all phases of engineering, operations and sales in this exciting enterprise, Alternative Energy.  

Mr. ElShafei is recognized as an authority and a leader in the power and energy industries; as such, he is called upon by customers, suppliers and learning institutions for advice and counsul.  His academic credentials include a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Benedictine. In his perpetual effort to remain beyond the state of the art in alternate and renewable energy, Mr. ElShafei maintains memberships in several professional  organizations .  His vision, passion, innovations and dynamic leadership has grown the company employing over 250 people across three locations.  MicroSun was listed in the INC. 5000 as one of the fastest growing companies.  Bob Chlebek

Mr. Chlebek has enjoyed a successful career as President of multiple corporations and leader to many. He retired as President of Electronics Instruments at Ametek, Inc. on December 31, 2008.

He also served as President of Philips Components North America from 1993 to 1997 and held several management positions at Texas Instruments. Working within Ametek’s $900M highly profitable Instrument business, Mr. Chlebek gained 11 years of experience serving Power Systems & Instruments, Aerospace & Defense, and Industrial Markets.

Throughout those years, he has strived for operational excellence and product innovation, led his company to achieve 8-10% internal growth each year, and successfully completed 15 acquisitions. He was vital member of the team for the initial evaluation, purchasing decisions, and complete integration into his company.

His extensive acquisition background and experience consists of both domestic and international operations, including 7 in Aerospace, 5 in Power, and 3 in the Industrial market. Along with his mergers and acquisitions experience, he also has invaluable experience in strategic planning, business growth and development, and expansion into international markets.

In November of 2008, he joined the board of Lecroy Corporation as an independent Director. He earned a Professional Director Certification from the American College of Public Directors, a public company director education, and credentialing organization.

Mr. Chlebek has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and earned his MBA at Bryant University.  

 Bob Lindeman

Bob Lindeman is a Managing Director of The Overture Group. His consulting experience over the last 30 years includes a variety of engagements in manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, associations and professional services.

For over 25 years, Bob was a Partner and Managing Director at the fifth largest accounting and consulting firm in the Unites States, which focused on middle market companies.

Bob consulted on executive- and management-level searches, ownership and management succession plan development and transition planning, financial and strategic planning, operational and process improvement, sales force compensation, annual and long-term incentive plans and organizational and succession planning.

Bob is a member of the Illinois CPA Society, the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants), Society for Human Resource Management, WorldatWork (American Compensation Association), and the Institute of Exit Planners.

Bob also sits on two privately held company boards and on the Advisory Board of Catholic Charities in the Greater Chicagoland area.
